What's an Announcement?
In Rooms, you have the ability to send what we call an Announcement. This is a one-way push of information that is sent out to every student and guardian in your class. This will take the shape of a push notification that they will receive directly on their phone. All a student or guardian has to do is tap on that notification and they'll be brought right into Rooms to further view that announcement.
Announcements are created and accessed on your class Home Stream page.
